There are a number of changes to the London congestion charge scheme which came into effect on 1 July. These include:
- Removing the ability for the charge to be paid in shops.
- Introducing a new Ultra Low Emission Vehicle Discount for cars and vans which emit 75g/km or less of CO2.
- Removing the Greener Vehicle Discount for cars which emit 95g/km or less of CO2.
